The day is here! The new album, Moving Pictures, drops TODAY on Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify and all the major streaming services. You can also get an old-school CD here through my website as well as a hi-res download and both of those are absolutely the best possible way to support me and this record. However you listen I hope you enjoy and appreciate the album and share it whenever possible! It's a pretty fun and wild ride that ventures from singer-songwriter fare into 1980s pop, straight-up jazz and what sounds suspiciously like a four-on-the-floor dance track towards the end. I kind of took off all the filters and limitation and just let things happen and the end result is probably the most colorful record I've made to date. Since it was inspired by painters and paintings I kind of let that dictate the process and in the end it seemed like many of the songs had a distinct identity and palette - much like walking through an art museum where you've got all these different styles housed in one building.
